Dr. Samelson received his Ph.D from the University of Texas at Austin and is a visiting Professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at the UTSA and Trinity University. A published author, Dr. Samelson’s work includes All Lie in Wait, One Bridge to Life, Warning and Hope, as well as volumes of English as a Second Language. He is a recipient of the Americanism Medal from the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as an Honorary Citizenship of Texas and an appointment of Admiral of the Texas Navy by Governor John Connally and the Texas Legislature.
