macarthur students win essay contest
The sophomore level of the English Department at MacArthur High School is excited to announce that the Ayn Rand Foundation selected four MacArthur students as prize winners in their annual essay contest.
These students wrote essays last year (spring 2012) with their sophomore teachers. The students read "Anthem" a novel by Ayn Rand and responded to prompts given by the foundation. These responses were mailed into the foundation to be judged. The winners won cash prizes ranging from $100-$25.
