MacArthur Career & Technical education advances to nationals
MacArthur Career & Technical Education students have advanced to national competition.
During Spring Break, MacArthur had 6 students compete at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference held in Corpus Christi.
Alyssa Parsons placed 2nd in Database Design & Application, which advances her to the FBLA National competition to be held in Nashville, TN this summer. Megan Beeson placed 5th in Job Interview. Jacob Lambert and Megan Beeson were selected as 2014 Texas FBLA Who’s Who.
MacArthur was also recognized for their donations to the March of Dimes and for participating the Lone Star Chapter Challenge. In addition to competitive events the students attended workshops about the importance of customer service, leadership, and goal setting.
