MacArthur Drill Teams defend championship titles

The MacArthur Blue Angels and Blue Guard Drill Teams will be defending their championship titles on March 13 at the Alamodome. Two events will go on at the same time on the center floor - the Army Western High School Drill Championships and the Air Force National Drill Championships.
There will be more than 400 JROTC Drill Teams competing. Everyone is invited to come out and watch the finest military drill teams in the nation compete.
Admission is free (however there may be a $5 parking fee).
MacArthur teams will be competing at the following times:
MacArthur Blue Guard Armed Drill Team (Male):
3 p.m. Regulation Drill
3:50 p.m. Color Guard
5 p.m. Exhibition Drill**
6 p.m. Inspection
MacArthur Blue Angels Unarmed Drill Team (Female):
2:50 p.m. Inspection
4:10 p.m. Regulation Drill
5:10 p.m. Color Guard
6:10 p.m. Exhibition Drill**
**For MacArthur, the most exciting and fun to watch event is Exhibition Drill where they usually dominate the competition. They are encouraging persons to attend and cheer on the teams. MacArthur is the first school to ever have both males and females win the championships at the same time.
