Fifty dozen freshly-baked cookies, donated by local businesses, will also be delivered to support Harmony Hills’ Grandparents Day activities this week.
Lopez PTA Community Relations Chair / Sister School Representative Colleen Douglas, with PTA President Paula Hilken, will pick up supplies collected by Lopez students and staff and deliver them to Harmony Hills. The Harmony Hills Family Specialist Maribel Lacey will be on site to receive the supplies.
To support their Sister School, Lopez students and staff collected school supplies ranging from colored pencils to crayons to notebook paper to binders and more. All supplies will benefit the students at Harmony Hills. NEISD's Sister School program pairs schools in the district together to support each other with school events.
