Lopez kicks off bully awareness week
LOCATION: Lopez MS, 23103 Hardy Oak blvd.
Lopez Middle School is introducing its newest student committee, the “Do Something L.A.B.” (Lopez Against Bullies). The first “Do Something L.A.B.” will help kick-off Lopez’s Bully Awareness Week – February 11 – 15, 2013.
The following spirit days will help spread awareness to our student body:
Monday: Crazy Club Day – Spirit Wear
Tuesday: Round Up Your Friends – Western Wear
Wednesday: Peace Out – Hippie Tie Dye
Thursday: Dress Like Your Friend – Twin Day
Friday: Be Comfortable With Who You Are – Pajama PANTS Day
In addition, the “Do Something L.A.B.” will have a table set up during all three lunches, promoting Lopez students to take a Bully Free Pledge. Student names will go on a peace sign and will be displayed in the halls. In turn, students will receive a blue piece of yarn to wear and remind them to be bully free.
It's peace and love for Lopez Principal Barry Lanford.
People saw double on dress like your friend day.
There was a hippie movement at Lopez during anti-bullying week.
