Lee says 'thank you' to NEISD electricians
On Monday, August 20, 2012, the Lee High School auditorium was left without power after a large-scale power outage affected the campus. With a week before school starting, the campus was already busy with activities that required this facility.
NEISD electricians worked all day on Monday to restore power, making the campus ready for activities on Tuesday in time for the district's In-Service ELL Curriculum Day. To say 'thank you,' Lee principal and staff invited the electricians, as well as the Director of Facility Maintenance John Trevino (shown below, top left), to join them for breakfast on Thursday, August 23. They were each given a Lee ball cap, along with the school's immense appreciation.
