Krueger students honored for photography

Four Krueger Middle School students will be honored for their photography on Oct. 24 at the San Antonio Founder's Day Celebration at the Alamo.
The following students entered and placed in the visual arts last spring, and will receive their awards at the Alamo during the Founder's Day presentation. Since the students won last year, two have moved on to high school.
Katherine Sotelo, currently an eighth-grader: First Place 7th grade
Shayna Walker, currently an eighth-grader: Honorable Mention 7th grade
Victoria Ludolph, currently a ninth-grader: First Place 8th grade
Claire Marshall currently a ninth-grader: Honorable Mention 8th grade
The first place winners each receive a $1000 scholarship from Incarnate Word University and the Krueger Middle School photography program will receive $500 for each first place winner.
In addition, Kaitlyn Kean, a current eighth-grader, was approached about receiving an honorarium from the Founder's Day organization so that they could use her entry on their Fiesta medal for 2010.
