Johnson collects $7,300 for Bastrop fire victims

The Johnson High School Student Council raised $7,300 in gift cards for the victims of the Bastrop fires. Donations were accepted during school hours and at the Johnson vs. Judson football game. Students, parents, faculty and staff, classes, clubs and organizations donated gift cards to various stores such as Walmart, H-E-B and Home Depot.
