Johnson JROTC remembers Pearl Harbor, community invited

The Johnson High School Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (AJROTC) will host its Fifth Annual Community National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, 8 - 8:25 a.m. at the school's main flagpole. The community is invited to attend and show their support for those who guaranteed our freedoms and the American way of life.
The ceremony will be directed by the cadets and will include a history of why we recognize National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, and a mixed Honor Guard consisting of cadets and active duty service members to ceremonially raised our Nation’s to half-staff in honor of the individuals who died as a result of their service at Pearl Harbor 71 years ago.
The award-winning Johnson Choir will sing the National Anthem and TAPS will be played by a Johnson band member.
