Jackson hosts "No Junk for JAGS Night"
The PTA from Jackson Middle School rolled up their sleeves to serve students and their families healthy snacks on Tuesday, April 9.
They showed families how to make quick and delicious snacks like fruit kabobs, smoothies and more at six different snack stations.
This was the first "No Junk for JAGS Night" and about 200 people showed up for the event.
Parents and students saw how to make the snacks, then they were able to sample the treats.
The NEISD Council of PTAs has really been involved with improving wellness and health for our students. The Jackson PTA says they hope to do more of these events.
