Jackson welcomes 6th grade students to Cub Camp

DATE: Aug. 22
TIME: 8 - 11 a.m.
LOCATION: Jackson MS, 4538 Vance Jackson

The faculty and staff of Jackson Middle School will say "Welcome" to all incoming sixth graders at the school's Cup Camp on Aug. 22, 8 - 11 a.m. The Jackson faculty has been busy preparing for a new and exciting school year, and look forward to meeting all of their new 6th grade “Jaguars!”

Cub Camp is an orientation program designed especially for incoming sixth graders. All students should report to their advisory room by 8 a.m. All sixth-grade students will receive an advisory ticket in the mail. In order to ensure that your child receives all the pertinent information, it is crucial that they arrive on time.

During Cub Camp, the sixth-grade students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers, tour the campus, and receive their locker assignment. In addition, the students will practice walking their daily class schedule route.

Several items can be purchased at Cub Camp. Spirit items will be available for you to preview and order. PE uniforms will be sold for $18.00. In addition, cafeteria accounts may be set up for students from 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. Separate checks (or cash) will be necessary for each item.

If students are unable to attend Cub Camp, they should bring their advisory ticket on the first day of school and report to the designated room.
