Hidden Forest happy feet club celebrates walk to school Day
TIME: 7:15 - 7:30 a.m.
LOCATION: Hidden Forest neighborhood
For the fifth year, Hidden Forest Elementary School’s Nurse Lupe Braid walks to school with students on Fridays with the Happy Feet walking club. Participants meet at the neighborhood tennis courts at 7:15 a.m. and together make the half-mile journey to the school.
All Hidden Forest students, parents and staff are encouraged to join families around the globe on October 3, to walk or bike to school for the National Walk to School month.
"With more than 70 walkers so far this year, students are sure to continue showing their Falcon spirit while enhancing their health, and reducing air pollution for the remaining of the school year," said Braid.
