Harris athletes raise money for Susan G. Komen Foundation

The Harris Middle School female athletes started off the year with a mission to raise money for breast cancer research. By selling shirts and taking extra donations, the girls have raised more than $2,500 to donate. The Susan G. Komen-San Antonio affiliate is sending out a representative on Thursday, October 20 and the girls will take a brief moment between volleyball games to present the check to the representative.

The Hawks have also designated Thursday, Oct. 20 and Thursday, October 27 as “Pink Out” games, encouraging everyone to wear their “Fight for the Cure” shirts.
