Harris student council delivers fun to SA Children's Shelter

The Harris Middle School Student Council recently delivered outdoor toys, games, and activities along with 500 stuffed plastic eggs to the San Antonio Children's Shelter.

"We want the children at the shelter to know that we are thinking of them and want them to have a fun spring" said Jasmine Herrera, student council member.

The Student Council put together the items in support of the Harris Spanish Club's supply drive for the shelter.

"As representatives of all Harris students, we feel it's important to support the service projects of other Harris student clubs and organizations" said Student Council President, Iyana.

The Harris Student Council is co-sponsored by teachers Sheriden DeCastro and Loryn Windwehen.
