garner has science night fun
Garner Middle School hosted the Spectacular Fun Science Night on Thurs., Nov. 8. In front of a packed science wing, parents and students saw tarantulas and snakes, sent wacky hallwalkers through the building, completed virtual frog dissections, used microscopes, learned to use motion detectors, as well as created and observed chemical reactions.
Parents learned tips to help their child be successful in science classes. One parent shared that, "The parents became the students, and vice-versa. Besides the science aspect from the CRAZY TRAITS - GENETICS activity, we were able to revisit the fact that we are all different, yet the same. Thanks for a great experience!"
We appreciate all who were able to come out and experience what Garner Science has to offer students in hands-on experiences and observations.
