Garner hosts 'Math Munchies' for parents

Garner Middle School hosted their first Monday Math Munchies on October 1. Bolstered with a donation of chips and salsa, the math department welcomed about 50 families at this new event. In addition to the food, parents were treated to examples of math lessons that their students recently learned in class.

"Parents appreciated participating in the actual lessons and discussing ways to include math lessons at home," said Allison Daniel, instructional coach.
