eisenhower students honored by board of trustees
Two outstanding students from Eisenhower Middle School were invited to begin the Regular Board of Trustee Meeting of the North East ISD on October 9, 2012.
Eighth-grade students Bethany Bloomer and John Cullen Player shared an inspirational message and lead the Pledge of Allegiance for board members, executive staff and guests in attendance.
They were introduced by their Principal Rudy Jimenez and accompanied by their parents Todd and Sharon Bloomer and John and Kelley Player.
Bethany is involved in athletics, is the historian for the National Junior Honor Society, participates in UIL Speech, is active in dance and is a member of her church youth group.
John is involved in athletics, president of the National Junior Honor Society, is in the one act play class for theater arts, is a year-round club swimmer, and was the recipient of the Superintendent’s Award in fifth grade and the Principal’s Award in seventh grade.
They were presented with a certificate from Board Vice President Letti Bresnahan for their participation at the meeting and for their outstanding achievements.
