Eisenhower students 'Flip out for Flip cameras'
Students in Jamie Bryant's Online Media Production class at Eisenhower Middle School won two Flip cameras through the Donorschoose.org and Sonic Drive In's Limeades for Learning campaign. Through the campaign, Bryant submitted her project "Flip out for Flip cameras" where her request for two Flip cameras be funded to benefit Eisenhower students. The students would use the cameras for their morning announcemtns and creating Public Service Announcements.
By students encouraging their friends and families to vote for their class project online, more than 1,100 votes were amassed in three weeks for the project. This was the eighth most voted for project in the U.S.
Bryant was notified September 25 that the cameras would be funded, and she is eager to surprise her students with the cameras.
