dellview leaders open their hearts
The Dellview Elementary School Student Council continues their season of giving by completing a few more service projects in December. Fourth and fifth grade students, accompanied by the National Elementary Honor Society members, spent two hours on Dec. 6 at the Elf Louise Project. They selected and wrapped gifts for the clients of Elf Louise. They took great pride in making sure each gift was perfect for every child.
On Dec. 13, 34 student council members from grades 2-5 conducted a campus clean-up and made handmade cards for residents of a local nursing home. Students delivered the cards to the residents of Manor Care Nursing Home along with poinsettias donated by Casa Verde Wholesale. The students sang holiday carols and entertained the residents for an hour before heading back to school.
