DATA student earns $2,500 scholarship from ssfcu

Rachel Singleton, a senior at the Design and Technology Academy at Roosevelt High School, was awarded a $2,500 scholarship from Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU).

Singleton was recognized with 19 other high-performing high school students at a luncheon at La Cantera Hill Country Resort April 3.

SSFCU is committed to awarding high school seniors scholarships to help them further their education. In 24 years, this program has given out more an a quarter of a million dollars. The students were selected for their academic record, well-rounded interests, integrity and goals.
