'Reading Is Fundamental' at Clear Spring

First grade students from Clear Spring Elementary School received free books from the North East Kiwanis Club. Mr. Everett, Mr. Zertuche, Mrs. Njus and Mr. Peterson came out to read to the students on October 24, 2012.

They visit three times a year and each first grade student has the opportunity to receive a free book purchased through Kiwanis’ fundraisers.

“This is a great opportunity for our students. They really enjoy their visit. We really do appreciate it!” said Michele DuBois, librarian.
