Clear Spring trains 15 students as peer mediators
Clear Spring Elementary School trained 15 students to become peer mediators for the campus. The training was provided by the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center.
Peer mediators help students to eliminate conflicts by using a formal process to guide conversation toward a resolution of the problem. This program is teaching students strategies to become independent problem solvers.
"The program is off to a great start under the direction of Mrs. Jonnalyn Hines, counselor at Clear Spring," said Adam Schwab, principal.
