cibolo green walk to school day

Cibolo Green Elementary School will join schools from around the world to celebrate International Walk to School Day by encouraging students to walk to school. Students, parents and community members will walk to school together in two large groups. Each group will begin from a different starting point.

 

The group starting at the Amenity Center will be led by Cibolo Green Principal Ivonna Gonzales. The group starting at the Bulverde Village Pavillion will be led by Cibolo Green Assistant Principal Elizabeth Fischer.

Walk to School events help create safer routes for walking and bicycling. It also emphasizes the importance of issues, such as increasing physical activity among children, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion, concern for the environment and building connections between families, schools and the broader community.
