Churchill cadets demonstrate commitment to health
Members of the Churchill High School JROTC Orienteering Team participated in this year's NEISD Fall Orienteering Meet at Camp Bullis, Texas. There were more than 500 cadets from all over the state that competed in this demanding and physically challenging event. The Charger JROTC Varsity and Advanced Male Team placed third as the result of the hard work and dedication from Cadets Dalton McCord, Hayden Andre, Dakota Rodgers, Benjamin Wright, Ayoub Abbar, Jonathan Elward, Bryce Falgiani, and Nicholas Dunaway.
Additionally, the Winston Churchill JROTC Intermediate Male Team placed first in this event. Cadets Spencer Pruett, Adam Andre, Louis Adams, and Gregory McConnell set the example for others to follow.
"Once again cadets from the Winston Churchill High School JROTC demonstrated the true spirit and dedication of a Churchill Charger," said William Parr, instructor. "Members of the Charger Battalion continue to bring distinct credit upon themselves, to Winston Churchill High School, and the North East Independent School District."
