churchill welcomes students from japan

Recently, Churchill High School's World Language department welcomed 12 students from a high school in Japan. The Japanese students shared their experiences after the tsunami and earthquake hit and the recovery efforts. Churchill's World Language students and Principal Jeff Vaughan shared the high school culture in the U.S. with them along with a welcoming assembly that included the Charger cheerleaders and drumline.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian G. Gottardy was present to welcome the students from Japan.
