Churchill fishing club hosts virtual tournament

The Churchill High School Fishing Club will host a Virtual Fishing Tournament October 29 - November 2.

The Virtual Fishing Tournament is a fun and fit activity for students, with all participants striving to achieve their personal best 'Catch O’ the Day.' Awards/prizes will be given for first three spots in each of the Tournament Categories: Individuals and Teams (four-person Team).

Individual play (Students or Faculty) is single elimination based on total Virtual Pounds of Fish caught within a three minute fishing period. Winner will move on to the next bracket. Individual Tournament play will be Monday through Thursday.

Team Play (Student Team or Teacher Team) consists of a four-member team that will play for a total of 12 minutes exchanging team-mates every three minutes. The team that accumulates the most pounds of fish wins and moves on down the single elimination bracket.

Games will be played on the Wii entertainment system on the big screen.
