Churchill hosts US Army visit
TIME: 8:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Churchill HS,
Armory, 12049 Blanco Road
The US Army will be bringing the School Challenge Program back to Churchill High School on Monday, December 3, 2012. The US Army's School Challenge Program is an academic, teamwork and leadership-based program that reinforce the school's core academic curriculum, as well as promoting physical well-being and fostering strength of purpose in our students.
The program showcases the opportunities the United States Army offers-- beyond what one sees on the news. Students will be able to experience and explore the wealth of choices and benefits (including possible tuition assistance) available to them with the Army, from medicine to law, from music to culinary-students will likely be surprised at the range of opportunities that exist in today’s military.
All juniors and seniors interested in military service are encouraged to take part in this annual event.
