Churchill wins big at state journalism convention

Publication students from Churchill High School won the following awards at the State Journalism Convention on October 22-24.

Editorial Writing: a rating of Excellence to Sean Lopez

Feature Writing: a rating of Superior to Lex Loro

Chancellor Yearbook: third place in small yearbooks and Savrola was awarded second place in literary magazines.

The convention, sponsored by the Texas Association of Jounralism Educators, welcomed 964 students from all over the state to this competition and workshop.
