castle hills student wins rabies prevention art contest

Approximately 900 students submitted entries into the Texas Department of State Health Services Rabies Awareness & Prevention Poster Contest.

Castle Hills Elementary School had nine students make it to the final round: Nakoma Maldonado, Raina Nutt, Miakoda Nutt, Kaidyn Palmer, Genesis Lopez, Dorothy McGee, Alice Llanas, Emilia Taylor and Christian Guajardo.

Raina Nutt's art piece was chosen as a first place winner in the grades 3-5 level. She earned an iPod and an art party for her class.
