DATE:
Sep. 2
TIME: 8:45 - 9:15 a.m.
LOCATION: Canyon Ridge ES, Outdoor Amphitheater, 20522 Stone Oak Parkway
Canyon Ridge Elementary School will kick off its monthly “First Friday” event and celebrate the new school year with their annual Coyote Pride Spirit Rally on Friday, Sep. 2 at 8:45 a.m. in the school's amphitheater. The entire school of more than 1,000 students will celebrate, and the Spurs Coyote will join in the festivities.
To ignite school spirit and excitement for the year, the Canyon Ridge Parent Teacher Association sponsors monthly “First Friday” special events. Now in its third year, “First Friday” events have become a tradition at Canyon Ridge. This pep rally kicks off a new year of events. There are six events scheduled for this school year.
The Spurs Coyote will kick off the pep rally. Students will wear their new turquoise blue spirit shirts that say “Great Happens Here.” There will also be posters for the students to hold up that say, “Go Coyotes Go,” “First Fridays Rock,” “Howl,” “Canyon Ridge #1” and “Great Happens Here.” Students will also have bubbles to use at the pep rally—more than 1,100 bubbles were donated by H-E-B.
