Bush honors active duty military, veterans and families
The Bush Middle School PTA honored current active military parents, military veterans, and their families at a patriotic and festive breakfast on Wednesday, September 12. Colonel David Bitterman, who currently serves as the Chief of Staff for the United States Army Medical Department Center and School at Fort Sam Houston, was the featured guest speaker.
Colonel Bitterman paid tribute to the many sacrifices military families have to endure and experience with military service. This annual event provides the Bush community an opportunity to not only show appreciation and support for our military, but also to offer advice on the many services available to them and help with any issues they might encounter as they move to new school districts and communities.
