Give back to NEISD through the SIMPLE Giving program
Four Walmart stores in the North East ISD community will help benefit schools through the Champions for Kids’ SIMPLE Giving program from March 22 – May 5. The program allows shoppers to donate oral care items (March 22-April 7) to NEISD students.
SIMPLE Giving, a Champions for Kids program, provides donation bins in Walmart stores, where shoppers can purchase and donate items in the store to help children in their community. All of the donations go to children in a school district where the Walmart store is located.
The four participating Walmart stores in the NEISD community are located at:
- 1515 N Loop 1604 E, 78232
- 1430 Austin Hwy, 78209
- 4331 Thousand Oaks Drive, 78217
- 8500 Jones Maltsberger Rd., 78216
From March 22 – April 7, customers at these Walmart stores can donate toothbrushes, toothpaste and hand soap at purple in-store donation bins, which will be collected by the district and distributed to children in need.
Additionally, Champions for Kids will provide $10,000 to the school district that collects the most donations from a single store in each Walmart division. CFK will provide $1,000 to the school district that collects the most donations from a single Walmart store in each region. This money will go to providing additional oral care treatment, education and items in the school district.
Contest rules and a full list of Walmart stores and their corresponding school districts are available at championsforkids.org/simplegiving.
