NEISD schools honored as manu's mathletes

Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs has always been a fan of mathematics and enjoys sharing his favorite subject with local students. This inspired Manu's Mathletes contest. North East ISD had two winning classes: Su Jin Choi's 9th grade class at Reagan High School and Kelly Petersen's 9th grade class at Lee High School.

Three times this season Manu tweeted out riddles for math classes to answer as a team. After each riddle, one of the classes that answered correctly was randomly chosen to attend a Spurs game and meet Manu on the court.

Choi's classChoi's sixth period math class from Reagan answered the first riddle correctly and went on the court with Manu before the December 21st game against New Orleans.
