North East ISD faculty, staff and students are back in gear for a new school year as schools welcomed approximately 68,000 students on Monday, August 26. Sporting new school clothes and big smiles—students were excited to catch up with friends and meet their new teachers. Several campuses hosted fun events and assemblies for both students and their parents to enjoy. NEISD is looking forward to another great school year as faculty and staff work toward, “Transforming the Future.”
