neisd holds parent academy graduation

The 2011-2012 North East ISD Parent Academy graduation will be held at Roosevelt High School on May 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. The Parent Academy program provides an opportunity for parents to acquire and apply the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill the role as their child’s primary teacher. Through their involvement in parent training sessions, these parents are motivated, encouraged and empowered to support their children’s educational success and also help develop personal skills of the individual participant. At the graduation ceremony all participants who met the academy requirements will be acknowledged and receive a certificate of completion.
