Elementary boundary changes approved by NEISD Board

On Monday, the North East ISD Board of Trustees met and approved proposed elementary school boundaries for two new elementary schools, Las Lomas and Vineyard Ranch.

Previously, district staff held a community meeting to discuss these changes. Many community members came and shared their input on the proposed school boundaries, as well as neighboring schools affected by the change.

Input from the community was given careful consideration for the Superintendent to form a recommendation regarding the boundary changes at this time. The recommendation was presented to the NEISD Board of Trustees at the regular December 12 board meeting. Input from community members was also gathered and will be presented to the Board as well.
