Lopez students take part in 'Pennies for pasta' campaign

Pennies were pouring in today at Lopez Middle School! Dr. Lanford and Mr. Darnall were good sports as students purchased strips of duct tape and whip cream cupcakes to “Stick it to Leukemia” and “Whip Leukemia” on the Lopez concourse.

All week Lopez students have been participating in the “Pennies for Pasta” campaign to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's School & Youth Programs. The winning class will be treated to lunch from the Olive Garden. The “Pennies for Pasta” campaign is still going strong! If you would like to donate please visit the link below. The Lopez Middle School “Pennies for Pasta” campaign ends on Friday, March 1, 2013.
