Lee Theatre Presents: Elephant's Graveyard
TIME: 7:30 - 9 pm
LOCATION: Black Box Theatre, Lee HS, 1400 Jackson Keller Rd.
"Elephant's Graveyard" is a play based on a true story about the Spark’s World Famous Circus and its infamous elephant, Mary. It takes place in 1916 in the small rural town of Erwin, Tennessee. After a circus street parade goes terribly wrong, the audience must bear witness to the painful decisions that face both the circus and community of Erwin. For the first time ever, Allied Campus Theatre will be performing “in the round”, allowing the audience a 360 degree view as this dramatic story unfolds before their very eyes.
The show runs from November 6-9 at 7:30 p.m. in the newly renovated Black Box on the Lee High School campus. Tickets are $5.00 (general admission seating) and go on sale beginning November 1st. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door, but seating is limited so get there early! The ticket booth will open at 6:30 p.m. on each night of the show.
