lee Jrotc family affair at the raul jimenez dinner
Fifty four Lee High School JROTC cadets were up early Thanksgiving morning and proceeded to the Henry Gonzales Convention Center for the Raul Jimenez Dinner.
As usual, a Lee JROTC Color Guard presented Colors to the crowd. But not so usual were the Color Guard members. Three of the four were siblings of the Espinosa family. Cadet First Lieutenant Bernadette Espinosa, a senior, carried the Texas flag, and was joined by her twin brothers John Paul and Ernest John. The Espinosa bothers were glad to join their sister and another senior, Cadet First Lieutenant Katrina Lambert, for the last Color Guard the ladies will participate in at the Jimenez Dinner due to their upcoming graduation.
Having a sister and twin brothers as Color Guard members was an historic event for Lee JROTC. They are pictured below (left to right) Ernest John Espinosa, John Paul Espinosa, Bernadette Espinosa and Katrina Lambert.
