Lee wins celebrate texas public schools video contest
“What does Texas public school mean to you?” That was the question students answered in Lee High School’s video entry for the Texas School Public Relations Association’s (TSPRA) first Celebrate Texas Public Schools (CTPS) video contest, sponsored by Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU). Created by senior Noah Izbrand, it was announced that the young director won the statewide competition in the high school category on May 24, winning $1,000 for his campus.
RBFCU representatives Stephen Ynostrosa, assistant vice president of business development, and Rafael Rodriguez, director of business development – south region, paid a visit to Noah’s A/V Production class, taught by Ryan Phillips to announce the big win with a big check.
The CTPS video contest challenged students to create a video sharing the theme: “Celebrate Texas Public Schools. Education. It’s BIGGER Here.”
