Jackson-Keller brings community together for science and math

The Jackson-Keller Elementary School community came together to help promote science and math skills. Students and parents experienced grade level activities which incorporated technology and hands on activities.

Students recharged at the Cheesy Janes food truck, where they dined in the courtyards of the school. More than 200 parents and students participated in the festive night.

"Our teachers worked diligently to prepare activities pertaining to each grade level TEKS so our  parents could gain an understanding of the curriculum," said Anna Nicolai, principal. At the end if the evening, parents and student gathered in the cafeteria to win door prizes.
