Hidden Forest student recognized as Habitat Hero

Habitat Hero

Aaminah Zeinelablin is being recognized for her charitable efforts.

Hidden Forest Elementary School student, Aaminah Zeinelabdin, was recently recognized as a Habit Hero for showing character traits of being a good leader. Not unlike many children her age, Aaminah just celebrated her 8th birthday with a party. However, she had her own ideas for what to do with the presents she would receive.

Aaminah put together a plan to ask friends and family to bring shoes instead of presents, with the mission to donate the shoes to a local children’s shelter. Because of Aaminah’s efforts, she was able to give over 25 pairs of shoes to children in need. Aaminah felt that she had everything she needed already, and wanted other people to be happy on her birthday besides her.
