2007 Graduation Video available live online

North East ISD is offering a new service for families of graduating seniors. This year, families will be able to view each high school graduation ceremony live over the Internet. NEISD has added this service especially for those families with military members around the world or who have home-bound relatives.

High school graduations can be accessed live on the Internet 10 minutes before the scheduled time of the preferred high school’s graduation ceremony and anytime during the ceremony. The Internet footage will not be available after the ceremony has ended. However, you can order a VHS or DVD of the ceremony.

Instructions to watch the ceremony online:

Click on the graduation video link or type http://powerlink.powerstream.net/002/00405/live1.asx into the address field and hit enter.

Watch the video using Windows Media Player. Download a free version from Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx.

Or if you are using a Macintosh computer, view the video with QuickTime Player using the free Flip4Mac wmv plug-in available at http://flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm.

Please note: viewing results will vary depending on your computer system, Internet connection speed, and media player. At minimum, you must have a broadband connection such as DSL or Roadrunner.

To order a VHS or DVD of the graduation ceremony, contact Electronic and Print Services at 637-4964, extension 240. The cost of the recording will be $20.
