Garner Students are watershed wise
Garner Middle School welcomed the San Antonio River Authority (SARA) on Wednesday, May 1. Education Coordinator, Josef Kaul, visited the seventh grade science classes to discuss environmental changes in our ecoregions of Texas.
The students examined the natural processes of weathering, erosion, and deposition. In addition, through the use of a watershed model, students investigated the San Antonio River Basin, and learned the effects of human activity on groundwater and surface water in a watershed.
