Fox Run welcomes parents to orientation, prepares for a great year
Fox Run Elementary held its orientation on September 1 and 3 to give parents the opportunity to visit in their child's classrooms. Teachers went over their curriculum and procedures for the coming year.
In the foyer of building, the PTA had tables set up for parents to purchase Fox Run t-shirts and other items. The new shirts promote Fox Run pride and also that "We Back the Mavs!"
Cindi Jacob, assistant principal, had a station for parents and grandparents to sign up as mentors.
"It was a great time of visiting with our parents and meeting new families," said Jacob. ""Our staff looks forward to working with our parents and community this year to make it the very best!"

Cindi Jacob, assistant principal; Dr. Maria Rosen, family specialist; and Dorothy Funk, IIT greet Fox Run families and students to Parent Orientation on September 1st. This station was set up to encourage and recruit mentors for the students.
