Soaring students celebrated at Ed White
Ed White Middle School hosted a Soaring Eagles celebration in their library on Dec. 4. To become a Soaring Eagle, students were nominated by a staff member for going above and beyond the normal expectations. Students contributed to the campus in a variety of ways, including helping in the library, counseling offices and as ambassadors for students.
The reception included a breakfast with family and the teacher or staff member who nominated them. Each student received a Soaring Eagle certificate from the counselors. School counselors, Laura Gonzalez and Melinda Cavazos, coordinated the reception with support from the Ed White Community Events committee.
