ETA students at rooselvelt witness robotic surgery

Students from the Engineering & Technologies Academy at Roosevelt High School attended a robotic surgery demonstration at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital on May 15. Dr. David Garza, OB/GYN, spoke to the students about how robotic surgery allows surgeons to perform delicate and complex operations with superior vision, dexterity and control. The students were able to test drive the demo model and participate in a virtual skills simulation contest.
