Engineering & Technology Academy partners with E12 program
The Engineering & Technologies Academy, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) focused magnet program from Roosevelt High School, is a part of the Texas A&M E12 Program. E12 Mentors which are 12 high performing high school students from 12 Top Performing Texas high schools are chosen to attend this meeting.
The focus of the meeting is to increase the number of well prepared and diverse students intending to enroll in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M. On their recent visit to the University, the students met with Porter S. Garner, the President of the Former Student's Association, an organization dedicated to the preservation of the Aggie spirit.
Lee High School is also part of the E12 program with Texas A&M.
