Dellview students enjoyed summer program

Dellview students sport Clifford gear.

While hosting its first Cruising Through Literacy Academy for the Lee High School Cluster, Dellview invited "Clifford The Big Red Dog" to surprise the students during one of their weekly “Port-of-Call” meetings. Students had spent the week reading Clifford books and connecting their reading to instructional strategies. They couldn't believe it when they saw their learning come to life as Clifford walked in to the cafeteria and gave each of them a high five!

The Lee Cluster's First Literacy Academy would like to thank HEB for donating gift cards to their students so they were able to participate in more engaging, hands-on, activities this summer, which made learning even more fun!

Dellview students hold up signs thanking HEB.
